End the system process
Step 1
Press the "Ctrl", "Shift" and "Esc" keys, and at the same time, pop up Task Manager.
Step 2
Click the "Processes" tab, "PerfOpt.exe then."
Step 3
Click "End Process" and close the window.
Delete the registry key
Step 1
Go to the Start menu and select Run.
Step 2
Type "regedit" and press "Enter" to bring up the Registry Editor.
Step 3
Find and delete these entries:
- HKEY_USERS\Software\Performance optimizer
- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft Windows
- CurrentVersionUninstall\Performance optimizer (trial version)
- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Performance optimizer
Step 4
Close the window.
Delete Files and Folders
Step 1
- Go to the "Start" menu
- select "Search"
- check the "All Files and Folders" option and then from the drop-down menu in the hard drive.
Step 2
Type "PerfOpt.exe" and press "Enter". Delete all search results.
Step 3
Duplicate "Performance Optimization HomePage.url Search", "PoChk.exe", "Readme.doc", "Sellmosoft HomePage.url", "sload.sbd", "; Documentation.lnk"," ReadMe.doc .lnk "," Performance Optimization Home Page.lnk "," Performance Optimizer.lnk "," Sellmosoft Home Page.lnk "," Uninstall Performance Optimizer.lnk "," creader.exe "," inst.imd "," pcid .exe "," PerfOpt.chm "," data001.reg "," data003. Chapter "," data006.reg "," data007.reg "," data009.reg "," data011.reg "," data013.reg "," data016.reg "," data017.reg "," data020.reg "," data023.reg "," data027.reg "," data030.reg "," data031.reg ", "data033.reg", "data040.reg", "data042.reg" and "uninstpo.exe."
Step 4
Restart the computer.
